O-rings, also known as O rings or orings, are a type of mechanical seal in the shape of a ring that ensures reliable sealing in systems subjected to different pressures. Thanks to their design, these rings can be used in both static and dynamic applications under high pressures and temperature ranges from -15ºC to +320ºC, ensuring necessary sealing.

In addition to the most demanded materials (NBR, FPM Viton, VMQ silicone, EPDM...), the following materials of o-rings are used in less common applications requiring special characteristics such as chemical resistance, extreme temperatures, or contact with specific substances:

Available Materials:

• Teflon (PTFE): Teflon O-rings offer excellent chemical and thermal resistance. Ideal for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, and for extreme temperature environments.

• Perfluoroelastomers (FFKM): These FFKM O-Rings combine flexibility and high chemical resistance. Perfect for oil and gas, aerospace, and chemical processing industries.

• Polyurethane (PU): Polyurethane O-rings are highly resistant to wear and abrasion. Used in hydraulic and pneumatic systems for heavy machinery.

• HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile): HNBR O-rings provide great resistance to heat, ozone, sunlight, and fuels. Used in the automotive industry, especially in fuel and transmission systems.

• Aflas (FEPM): Aflas O-rings resist acids, bases, and amines, and withstand high temperatures. Excellent for the oil, gas, and power generation industries.

• CR (Neoprene): Neoprene O-rings are resistant to weather, ozone, light oils, and certain chemicals. Ideal for marine applications, refrigeration, and industrial exteriors.

These less common materials represent specialized solutions for applications requiring unique properties where conventional materials cannot ensure leak-free sealing.
